What is wool fabric?

Wool fabrics have been produced since ancient times. Wool fabric for suits and more, is produced from the hair of sheep, llamas, camels, goats, rabbits. High-grade wools include cashmere, alpaca, mohair, merino or shetland or striped wool fabric. High-grade wool fabrics are soft and warm so they are perfect for coats, costumes, suits and winter clothing.

Wool fabric has great properties. The best feature is excellent insulation, it retains heat between the fibers. Wool can be worn in winter as well as in summer, as it maintains a constant body temperature.

Thick wool fabric for suits must be washed according to the manufacturer's label. Not every one is suitable for home cleaning, a dry cleaner is definitely a better option. If you opt for wool fabric for costumes, it can be washed up to 30C in a special program. A similar situation arises at the time of ironing, as the whole process must be done with vigilance. It is best if you use a linen or cotton cloth, through which you iron with an iron on the lowest temperature. Once done, leave the fabric flat until the fibers cool down.
