Corduroy

What is corduroy fabric?

Corduroy is a ribbed cotton fabric. It can also be wool or silk. This material is used most often for outerwear, pants, skirts or as an upholstery fabric for mels.

Corduroy fabric is a thick cotton fabric (can be wool or silk) with a ribbed surface. The name is derived from the German word Struck, but around the world the fabric is called corduory. The fleece of corduroy fabric has micro hairs that are arranged in lines. You can find the fabric in either wide or very narrow stripes. Corduroy by the meter is extremely durable, pleasant to the touch and fits beautifully. Cotton corduroy is air permeable and has hygroscopic properties. Washing should be done at a low temperature, preferably with the addition of fabric softener, to preserve the softness of the fiber. Coarse corduroy fabric should be ironed on the left side to avoid creasing. We also suggest ironing through a smooth cotton cloth.

Bemax wholesale has corduroy in its offer in different color versions. This allows you to choose according to your taste. It works best for the autumn-winter season as a fashionable addition to your closet.
