This is another Italian wool in a deep plum shade with a structural weave. The pattern arranges itself into a check.
Wool in various versions—from coat-weight to suit-weight—for the autumn-winter season is an offer for those who like to choose “with good judgment,” not just by color. And yes, it’s a bit like in the wardrobe—one day a coat, the next day a suit, and it always looks like a proper Italian recipe for style. We have wool in these variants: from pure wool to blends with acrylic or polyesters, made for autumn and winter, when the fabric must truly keep you warm and maintain its shape.
The weight range from 280 to 430 g/m² makes it possible to match the fabric to a specific purpose: lighter options work great for tailored suit constructions, while heavier variants sound like a “coat guarantee”—with good wrapping and a stable layout. Different weaves and finishes give different behavior in the hand: brushed fabrics optically warm up and drape softly; with pile they add depth to the texture; bouclé introduces a pleasant roughness and character; and processed (parched) wool provides wool-like springiness and a more compact, dense structure. Depending on the blend composition, additives support resistance to creasing and help the fabric look “like new” for longer.
A wide palette: from dark ash grays, navies, and black, to more saturated shades of green and pink. Different versions of patterns and textures make even calm colors not look flat—they simply have “light,” and in a finished styling they look rich without being loud.
It is safest to wash on the wool delicate cycle at 30°C, without soaking and without strong spinning. Dry flat or on a hanger, away from radiators. Iron carefully, at low or medium temperature, and preferably using steam and protective fabric, because finishes such as brushed or pile finishes like to be treated “with care.” In any case, we recommend professional dry cleaning.
In this collection, you will find wool ideal for coats and outerwear, but also for well-crafted overcoats, blazers, jackets, and suits. If you are aiming for a cut that emphasizes the line (darts, shaping, seams), choose variants with greater stability; for looser forms and elegant outerwear, look for textures with a finishing that nicely builds volume, such as brushed, bouclé, or processed wool.
