Natural mulberry silk — is a fabric worth remembering, because touching it can take us into a world of luxury already with the first brush. Fabric category: Silk. A material made of 100% mulberry silk or in a version with added elastane, with a width of 140 cm. The weight is about 16 momme, which gives the fabric lightness and an extremely fluid drape. The finish and texture depend on the chosen weave: silk satin, twill, crepe de chine, and chiffon create a diverse character — from a glossy sheen to a subtle, matte charm. These textiles can turn even the most ordinary project into a real “wow”.
A natural treasure in two versions: 100% mulberry silk or versions with added elastane, with a weight of around 16 momme, which guarantees excellent abrasion resistance and durability. Mulberry silk is a fabric with exceptional hygroscopicity and thermoregulation — the skin breathes, moisture evaporates, and the material maintains thermal comfort even under changing conditions. Optional elastane adds a delicate stretch, making the fabric even more practical for fitted cuts. A silk satin weave provides an intense shine and a smooth surface, twill adds a soft texture and subtle weight, crepe de chine introduces a lightly ribbed, soft texture, and chiffon ensures lightness and floaty movement. A width of 140 cm allows for creating projects with a minimal number of cuts, which every person who sews will appreciate.
Mulberry silk is made from silkworm cocoons, which most prefer to feed on mulberry leaves.
A very wide range of colors and over 200 patterns are available. Thanks to different weaves, colors look different: satin emphasizes color intensity and shine, crepe de chine gives a subtle tone to the fabric, and chiffon adds lightness and transparency. In the offer, you will find both bold, saturated tones and delicate pastels as well as classic neutral shades. Over 200 patterns open up possibilities for projects from evening dresses to everyday, elegant blouses, and the wide palette of colors makes it easy to match the fabric to any style.

Composition: 100% mulberry silk or versions with elastane. To maintain the fabric’s properties, we recommend washing on a delicate cycle or hand washing in water at temperatures up to 30°C with a mild detergent intended for silk. Avoid chlorine and high temperatures. Do not spin at high speeds; best is to dry it laid flat or hang it in the shade, avoiding direct sunlight. Set the iron to a low temperature (or medium) and iron through a delicate piece of cotton from the reverse side; if needed, use steam from a distance to avoid damaging the delicate structure. Elastane versions also require gentle care to preserve stretch without losing shape.
Thanks to its lightness, drape, and beautiful sheen, natural mulberry silk is ideal for projects that want to impress with elegance and comfort. Perfect for long, airy dresses and evening blouses, as well as for shirts and skirts sewn with flair, with soft, flowing lines. Elastane versions work great for fitted styles — a fitted blouse, a light blazer, or an elegant jumpsuit will ensure comfort and a loose yet refined character. With a width of 140 cm and a wealth of patterns, this fabric is also an excellent choice for scarves, shawls, and accessories that will complete any outfit.
