What is denim—i.e., properties

Composition: 100% cotton or cotton with the addition of elastane. Fabric weight ~360 g/m², width 150–160 cm, Weave/structure type: twill weave, denim. Finish: softened.
This combination ensures exceptional durability and the natural breathability of cotton, while the elastane version adds a gentle stretch, allowing the fabric to fit the silhouette neatly without losing the character of denim. The medium fabric weight maintains an appropriate stiffness for demanding cuts, and the width of 150–160 cm makes cutting easier and minimizes seams, which is valued for home projects and more ambitious endeavors.
Denim is a strong fabric intended for longer use. Properly softened, it gives us a faster effect of that soft cotton and the washed effect. And classically cotton denim likes, after washing, to shrink a little, and then while wearing, it becomes looser :)

Denim pattern and color

The characteristic twill weave gives the fabric a classic denim look with a distinct texture. Available colors range from very light shades of blue, through classic denim, to indigo navy and black. Each color offers timeless character: light blues bring ease and freshness, indigo navy adds elegance, and black denim fits almost any styling and evening finishing.

Denim care

Depending on the composition. For 100% cotton: wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle, on the left side, with a neutral detergent, avoid bleach; tumble dry or air dry, preferably by hanging. Iron at medium temperature, with steam, on the left side to preserve color and structure. For elastane blends: also 30°C, delicate cycle, avoid high temperatures and long drying to maintain the fabric’s elasticity.

Applications of denim

This is a material designed for classic jeans trousers in straight or tapered cuts, barrel, trucker jackets, and light skirts; it will also work well for oversized shirts and unusual dresses with straight lines. Ideal for accessories, bags, backpacks, and hems. From darker colors, you can achieve a washed effect with appropriate processing in industrial laundries.

Attention! Denim subjected to the color-washing process. As a result, the color across the entire fabric may differ slightly from one area to another. This is a natural characteristic of this denim and, for this reason, it will not be subject to complaints.
