Properties of fine wool

This fabric is the essence of nature in yarn form: it combines the softness of virgin wool with the light, airy structure of muslin. Thanks to a GSM of 87 g/m² and a width of 150 cm, the material remains lightweight and pliable, while also providing good insulation. The plain weave, reminiscent of tetra, gives the fabric a subtle, even texture without excessive sheen, highlighting the matte finish of the black. Virgin wool guarantees natural thermoregulation, hygroscopicity, and durability, so the muslin retains its properties even after many washes. All together, it creates a breathable fabric that does not shift during movement, while maintaining its shape and an elegant minimalist style.

Available exclusively in black, the muslin gauze features a uniform, deep black with a matte finish. The weave pattern is a plain weave with a subtle, tetra-like texture that gently emphasizes the cuts without overwhelming them. Care for fine wool

Composition: 100% virgin wool. Gentle washing is key to preserving the fabric’s properties. We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water (about 30°C) with a mild wool detergent or a delicate wool program in the washing machine. Do not use bleach. After washing, spin on low speed and dry flat at room temperature, away from direct heat sources. Press at low temperature with steam, through a cotton cloth.
