      Cupro Viscose Fabric

      Cupro is a luxurious, noble type of viscose made from cotton cellulose, also known as linter. It is characterized by an exceptionally smooth, silky surface, which is due to the structure of cupro, which has a very delicate fuzz (like a peach).

      Cupro is also referred to as "vegan silk."

      Why is Cupro Fabric Unique?

      First of all, the fabric is valued for its excellent thermoregulating properties: it breathes, quickly absorbs and wicks moisture, providing a feeling of coolness in summer, but it also works well on cooler days.

      Cupro is pleasant to the skin, anti-static, and in addition, it is a fiber that is not only of natural origin but also conducive to recycling and reducing waste in the cotton industry.

      Colors of Cupro

      This type of viscose most often appears as a solid color fabric, as this best reflects the very characteristic effect of light reflecting off its delicate fuzz. This causes the fabric to gain brighter reflections as it moves, making the colors of cupro appear slightly muted.

      What to Sew with Cupro Viscose?

      It is wonderfully suited for all cuts that require a stable and flowing fabric. Long dresses and skirts, oversized shirt blouses, and pants with a wider leg. Cupro is quite a soft and simultaneously resilient fabric, it will rather straighten out than retain a caught form, which is why it will well convey all cuts and darts.

      Caring for Cupro

      Clothes made of Cupro should be washed gently, at a low temperature of up to 30 degrees, preferably on a delicate fabric program. They should dry naturally, away from heat sources, and wide-shouldered hangers can be used. Ironing should only be done to one dot, i.e., max 110-120 degrees, and preferably through a delicate cloth that can be dampened with water, or using a steam iron.
