Composition: 100 % mulberry silk
Silk fabric with an animal motif in the Hermes style. It is a luxury that makes every day feel a little more refined—like a trip to the atelier that starts with the very concept. Fabric category: crepe de chine. This silk crepe with a soft texture and subtle sheen ensures extraordinary wearing comfort and a smooth, elegant drape.
Composition: 100% mulberry silk, Weight: 100 g/m², Width: 140 cm, Weave/structure type: crepe de chine, Finish: silk crepe. Thanks to the natural properties of mulberry silk, it breathes, regulates temperature, and is delicately hypoallergenic, making it an ideal material for a complete wardrobe. The crepe de chine weave gives the fabric a subtle roughness and lightness, while the silk sheen emphasizes the depth of the color. A weight of 100 g/m² provides the appropriate “weight” and excellent, elegant drape without sacrificing any of its lightness. The silk crepe finish adds character and durability to the fabric, so the material lays beautifully even in more demanding projects.
For this material, we chose a black background on which the animal motif in shades of violet and blue takes us into a world of refined color stunningness. A pattern inspired by the Hermes aesthetic is dynamic and bold, yet incredibly versatile. The color palette on a black background gives designers plenty of room to maneuver: it looks great both in all-over, evening creations and in subtler, contrasting accents.
Composition calls for gentle care. We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water (~30°C) with a mild silk detergent, without prolonged soaking. It is also possible to use a professional chemical laundry service. Do not wring forcefully; dry flat in the shade. Iron set to the lowest setting for silk, preferably through a protective cotton or velvet fabric; avoid direct contact between the iron and the fabric.
A material that will work perfectly in projects where drape and an elegant character matter. Long, flowing evening dresses sewn with a focus on full brilliance, elegant blouses with delicate draping, slightly oversized shirts, and skirts with a soft, fluid cut—these elements will all look exceptionally striking against this fabric. Thanks to its texture and pattern, this fabric adds polish to any project, highlighting the figure and personality of the person wearing it.
