What is cotton?
Cotton fabrics are the most popular in the textile industry. They are made from fibers surrounding the seeds of the cotton plant. Cotton fabric is resistant to stretching, is resistant to high temperatures, and has fairly high hygroscopicity. Thicker fabric retains heat, while thinner fabric cools the skin appropriately. Due to the low elasticity of the material, it is prone to creasing. Cotton fabric can be ironed at a temperature of 150-180oC and can be washed in warm water.
